Privacy Policy

How this website handles information — written honestly for the current prototype state, with placeholders for verified business details.

Effective date: [Publication Date — set at launch] · Last updated: [Date]

1. Overview

This privacy policy describes how [Business Name] ("we", "us") handles information through this website. In its current prototype state, this website does not collect, transmit, or store personal information. All forms (booking, contact, and the welcome offer) validate entries locally in your browser and display a demonstration response only. No data leaves your device.

2. Information You May Provide (Once a Backend Is Connected)

When this site goes live with a form provider or backend, the booking and contact forms may collect: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle or property details, preferred appointment date, and message content. We would use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare estimates, and schedule appointments. Update this section to match the actual data flows before launch.

3. Local Storage This Site Uses

The website uses your browser's sessionStorage for two functional, non-tracking purposes:

  • Remembering that the branded loading animation has already played, so it does not repeat while you browse.
  • Remembering that you dismissed the welcome offer, so it does not appear again during the same session.

These flags contain no personal information and expire when you close the browser session.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This prototype sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics. If analytics are added before launch, disclose the provider, the data collected, and the retention period here.

5. Third-Party Resources

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and the GSAP animation library from the jsDelivr content delivery network. When your browser requests these resources, the providers receive standard request data (such as your IP address) as described in their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy. Self-hosting these files removes this third-party loading entirely.

6. Your California Privacy Rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know what personal information a business collects, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because this prototype collects nothing, there is currently nothing to request. Add verified response procedures and timelines before launch.

7. Children

This website is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above.

9. Contact
